Just think what we could achieve if we all worked together, and we all had the same goals ! This is exactly the drive behind Sizanani. Sizanani is a Xhosa word, meaning "helping each other". Xhosa is one of the eleven official languages in South Africa, and the mother tongue of our previous President, Mr. Nelson Mandela.

In the spirit of "helping each other", Bellevue Wine Estate of Stellenbosch South Africa and more than eighty of it's staff from previously disadvantaged population groups have formed a Private Company. Stellenbosch Wine and Logistics (Pty) Ltd. has its focus on upliftment and empowerment.

The aim is to achieve this through the production and trade of quality wines at real value price points, and through the provision of logistical services to the wine industry. Shareholders from the previous disadvantaged population groups will be included in top management, and on the Board of Directors. These persons will be developed through specific management education, and will have permanent access to the Bellevue Estate Management as Mentors.

Stellenbosch Wine and Logistics (Pty) Ltd. - Logistical services

Bellevue Wine Estate is currently supplying logistical services to five wine estates in and around Stellenbosch. Bottling, labelling, packaging and storage facilities are all part of the one stop service we offer. This service will in future be run by Stellenbosch Wine and Logistics (Pty.) Ltd.

Stellenbosch Wine and Logistics (Pty.) Ltd. - Sizanani range of Wines

Ownership of the Sizanani range of wines is shared between Bellevue Estate and the permanent Team of the Estate, each holding shares in Stellenbosch Wine and Logistics (Pty.) Ltd. Grapes will be vinified in Bellevue Estate's cellar, under guidance of the Estate Wine Maker.

The range will include both red and white wines, single cultivars as well as blends. The focus is on producing wines that can be enjoyed at any occasion, and even just the opening of a Sizanani bottle of wine is such an occasion! The Sizanani range of wines will be unobtrusive, easy to enjoy wines, full of ripe fruit and all the lovely flavours from Stellenbosch.
